With Windows 10, Microsoft introduced the new Windows Activation Troubleshooter, which will allow you to fix your Windows activation issues.
However, some users reported issues with activating Windows after applying these solutions.

Reset your internet connection
- Go to Start, type cmd, and open Command prompt as an administrator.
- Type in the command below, and hit Enter: netsh interface tcp show global
- Locate the 6to4 status line, and if you see “UP”, then your connection is working properly. If not, enter the following command, and then press Enter: netsh interface tcp set global 6to4 state disabled
Change your Internet settings
- Go to Start, type network in the search field, and select Network and Internet
- Click on Change adapter settings
- Right-click your Internet connection and select Properties
- Click on the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
- Select Obtain an IP address automatically
- Set Obtain DNS server address automatically
- Hit the OK button
- Open your web browser
- Type 192.168.1.254 in the address bar
- Select Enter Credentials and type your administrator password
- Go to Advanced settings
- Select Networking Mode
- Select Obtain an IP address automatically
- Click OK
Check Point firewall
- Press Windows + S, type firewall, and select the relevant search result.
- Select Protect my computer and network, and Open protected settings.
- Next, select Trust software, and then Settings.
- Now, select ActiveX Filtering, and then click on Run.
Restart the Microsoft Store app
- Press the Windows + I keys to open the Settings app, and click on the Apps option.
- Click on Microsoft Store to open its Options.
- Click on Restart.
Login to your Microsoft account from a different Windows 10 PC
- Go to Microsoft Store
- Sign in with your Microsoft account
- Go to your downloads, find Minecraft, press and hold, and choose “Open in Store”.
- Log in to Microsoft Store
- Go to your downloads, find Minecraft, press and hold, and choose “Open in Store”.
