Kodi is one of the most popular media players on the market, and it offers users tons of content. Unfortunately, some users reported that Kodi won’t load the playlist, and they can’t access files.

- The iptv file can be corrupted or outdated, and this may cause Kodi errors.
Open Kodi and Refresh the Add-ons
- Open Kodi.
- Press the Add-ons button.
- Choose the Refresh option.
- Select the Settings option on the Add-ons screen.
- Select Clear Cache and Clear Data.
Delete the downloaded file
- Open Kodi > navigate to the Home Screen > select Add-ons
- Scroll down to Video Add-ons > select Repositories
- Select Install from Zip File > navigate to the downloaded folder > select the iptvplaylist file
- Select Install
Delete the downloaded folder
- Go to Settings > Add-ons > Program add-ons > Exodus
- Go to Program add-ons > XBMC Add-ons
- Click on the Settings icon
- Click on Delete local data
Leave Kodi running and open File Explorer
- You can launch File Explorer by pressing the Windows key + E hotkey.
- Next, enter the following path in File Explorer’s address bar: C:\Users
- Select the Kodi IPTV playlist file to download.
- Next, press the Ctrl + S hotkey to save File Explorer’s window.
- Then, press the Windows key + R hotkey to launch the Run dialog box.
- Enter the following path in the Run box: %localappdata%\Kodi\addons
- Press the Enter key to open the Kodi addons file.
- Select the IPTV Playlist file.
- Press the Ctrl + S hotkey to save the Kodi addons file.
- Then, press the Windows key + R hotkey to launch the Run dialog box.
- Enter the following path in the Run box: %localappdata%\Kodi\profiles
- Press the Enter key to open the Kodi profiles file.
- Select the IPTV Playlist file.
- Press the Ctrl + S hotkey to save the Kodi profiles file.
Reinstall Kodi
- Download Kodi from the official Kodi Website and install it.
- After the successful installation, open the Kodi software.
- Select Video Add-ons from the left pane.
- Now, click on Program add-ons.
- Select Kodi Add-on Repository.
- Scroll to Kodi Playlist Wizard.
- Click on Install from Repository.
- Now, select Kodi Add-on Repository and then Program add-ons.
- Select Kodi Playlist Wizard.
- Click on Install from Repository.
- Once the Kodi playlist wizard is installed, click on Program add-ons.
- Select Kodi Playlist Wizard.
- Click on Configure.
- Go to Playlist Options.
- Select No Playlist.
- Click on OK.
- Click on Exit.
