Set Default Device
- Right-click the Start button and choose Device Manager from the list.
- Expand the DVD/CD-ROM drives section and right-click on your DVD drive. Select Set as Default Device from the menu.
- Now, check if the issue is still there.
- Disable the Driver Signature Enforcement
Navigate to the Settings app and navigate to Update & Security. - Select Recovery from the left pane.
- Choose Get Started under Reset this PC.
- Select Remove everything and Remove files.
- Select Keep my files only.

Change CD-ROM drive letter
- Open Device Manager
- Expand the DVD/CD-ROM drive
- Right-click on the CD/DVD drive and choose Properties
- Select the Driver tab
- Uncheck the Use Device Context Menu For This Device box
- Click OK
Restart Windows
- Press the Windows key + I to open Settings.
- Choose Update & Security.
- Click on Recovery from the left pane.
- Click Restart now.
Update DVD driver
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand the DVD devices category.
- Right-click a DVD device and choose the Update driver option.
- Select the Search automatically for drivers option.
Update Windows
- Press Windows Key + I to open Settings.
- Select Update & Security.
- Now click Check for updates button.
- If an update is available, Windows will automatically download and install it.
- After update is finished, restart your computer.
