How to Add Photos to Instagram Posts: Tips and Tricks

Unfortunately, there are some users that have reported not being able to add photos to their Instagram posts even when they have the proper rights.

• Instagram is one of the most popular social networks for sharing photos, videos, and stories.
• You can add photos to your Instagram posts by saving them onto your phone’s Camera Roll or using another photo editor.
• You can also resize your photos before posting them on Instagram, and you can do that in dedicated apps.

Upload the photo to Instagram

1. Open the Instagram app.
2. Tap on the photo you want to upload.
   
3. Now tap on the arrow icon in the bottom-right corner of the photo.
4. Select Copy Share URL.
5. Now go to the Instagram Post that needs to be posted.
6. Tap on the square icon in the bottom-right corner of the photo.
   
7. Now select Paste.

Choose ‘Add to Story’

1. If you’ve added the Instagram Story feature on your phone, you can add your 4K video to that. To do that, open the Story you’re going to post and tap the plus sign.
2. A pop-up will open. Tap the Camera icon.
   
3. Select the video you want to include and tap Next.
4. You can also add your favorite music to the Story. To add music, tap Music in the top right corner, choose your song, and tap Next.
5. After you’ve added the video and the music, you’ll see a preview of the Story. If you want to add a filter, tap Filters in the top right corner of the preview.
6. A filter selector will open. Choose the filter you want to apply and tap Next.
7. If you want to add text to the Story, tap Text in the top right corner of the preview.
   
8. Enter your text, choose a color, and tap Next.
9. Finally, tap Post to share it.

Upload the photo to Instagram Story

1. Instagram only allows up to 15 seconds for a video and 60 seconds for a photo.
2. Copy the Instagram Story link and paste it on your Instagram post.
   
3. Find an Instagram Story with 15 or 60 seconds duration, paste the link, and paste it on your Instagram post.

Use a third-party app

1. You can take screenshots, add text, and crop images before posting.
2. Many third-party apps do allow you post multiple photos and videos at a time.
3. You can take a screenshot and crop it to share the image of your screen.
   
4. You can load multiple photos or videos.
5. You can also upload videos to Instagram from your desktop.
