Step-by-Step Guide: How to Allow Website Through Firewall Windows 10

Check Windows 10’s Windows Defender Firewall

1. Open Windows Defender Security Center. To do that, press the Windows key + I button to open Settings.
2. Click Windows Defender Firewall to open the window shown directly below.
3. Select the Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall option.
4. Click Add to open the window shown directly below.
5. Click Websites and apps.
   
6. Select the website you want to open.
   
7. Select the Allow the connection option.
8. Close Windows Defender Security Center.

Allow access to specific website

1. Press Windows + I to open the Settings app and select Network & Internet from the list of options.
2. Click the Firewall & network protection option.
   
3. Select the Allow an app or feature option.
4. Click on Change Settings.
5. Select the Websites option.
6. In the Websites section, type the website’s URL in the text box provided.
   
7. Select the Always allow option.

Run the Internet Explorer troubleshooter

1. Press the Windows + I keys to launch the Settings app, and click on the Update & Security option.
2. Click on the Troubleshoot option under the Windows Security section.
   
3. Select Internet Apps and Browsers from the list of troubleshooters, and click on the Run the troubleshooter button.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the troubleshooting process.

Allow all websites and apps through Firewall

1. Press Windows + R, type firewall.com, and click OK.
2. Click on Allow an app or feature through Windows Firewall.
   
3. Navigate to the Allow another app or feature (Windows 8) or Add an app or feature (Windows 10) section.
4. Select Internet Radios (Windows 10) or Streaming Media Players (Windows 8) from the list.
5. Click on Add feature.
