iTunes manages our iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices, and users might have problems setting up or restoring their iPhone 4 without using iTunes.

Use a third-party software
- 1. Connect your iPhone to the PC.
- 2. Download the iOS Data Migration tool.
- 3. Run the program.
- 4. Click on Start button.
- 5. Now, connect your iPhone to your PC.
- 6. Click on Begin.
Update your computer
- Press Windows Key + I to open Settings and go to Update & Security section.
- Click Check for updates button and wait for the process to finish.
Turn off iCloud
- Press the Home button and open the Settings.
- Select iCloud.
- Tap the iCloud option.
- Now, turn off the iCloud option.
- Turn Off Cellular Data
Open the Settings app on your iPhone. - Tap the Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Toggle the button next to Fetch New Data to off.
- Switch Off WiFi
Open the Settings app on your iPhone. - Tap the Wi-Fi option.
- Tap the Disconnect button.
- Reboot your iPhone
Change your iPhone
- Plug in your iPhone to your PC.
- Have iTunes installed on your PC.
- Open iTunes.
- Click on the iPhone icon.
- Click on Summary.
- Click on the Restore iPhone button.
- Click on Restore.
- After the restore process is completed, your iPhone will be restored.
Change your Apple ID
- Go to Apple’s official website.
- Click on the “iTunes & App Store” option.
- Now click on “Sign In”.
- Enter your Apple ID and password.
- Click on “Sign In”.
- Now click on the “Account Info” option.
- Choose the “Change Country or Region” option.
- Click on “Change Country or Region”.
- Choose the country you want.
- Click “Change”.
- Download iCloud for Windows
- Connect your iPhone 4 to your PC.
- Locate the iCloud folder.
- Copy the folder to your desktop.
- Go to iTunes.
- Open Preferences and click on Devices section.
- Click on “Import File…”.
- Click on “Choose File” and select the iCloud folder on your desktop.
- Click on “Import”.
Turn off Find My iPhone
- Turn off iCloud
Open iTunes - Connect your iDevice
- Open iTunes > Click on your iPhone in iTunes
- Click on Summary > Restore Backup
- Wait for the process to complete
Turn off Auto-Lock
- Go to Settings > General > Auto-Lock and set the Auto-Lock to Never.
- Turn off iCloud
Go to Settings > iCloud and turn off iCloud (or tap Sign Out). - Turn off Find My iPhone
Go to Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone, and toggle off Find My iPhone. - Turn off Passcode
Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > Turn Passcode Off. - Turn off Activation Lock
Go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud and turn off iCloud. - Turn off Find My Phone
Go to Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone, and toggle off Find My iPhone.
Install the latest iTunes
- Download the latest version of iTunes from the Apple Software Update website.
- Run the downloaded setup file and install it.
- Allow it to install all the prerequisites.
- Once the installation is complete, run iTunes.
