How to Convert PS3 PSN Account to PS4 Account (PowerPoint)

Start in Safe Mode

Edit the Registry

1. Press Windows Key + X and select Run.

4. Right-click on your user account and open New -> String Value.
5. Rename the new string to PSN ID.
6. Right-click on the PSN ID > select Modify.
7. Enter your new PS4 ID there.
8. Close Registry Editor.

Create a new PSN account

1. Visit the Sony PlayStation website in your browser.
2. Click on the Sign In button at the top right of the screen.
3. Enter the new username, password, and email address.
4. Click on the Create account button.
6. Next, select your country from the drop-down menu.
   
7. Then, click on the Sign In button.
8. Log-in to your PSN account.
   
9. Go to the Settings option.
10. Click on the Account Management icon.
11. Click on Deactivate.
12. Deactivate your PSN account.
