- Start by uninstalling any unwanted software, then update the Razer Synapse software, and don’t forget to change your region.
Scan your PC for malware
- To do that, press the Windows key + I to open Settings, navigate to the System tab, and click on the Update & Security option.
- Now, click on the Windows Security tab from the left pane.
- Click the Virus & threat protection option.
- Scroll down and click on Scan optional files.
- When the scan is done, remove the detected viruses, and restart your PC.
Scan for new hardware
- Press Windows + I to open the Settings app, and then click on Update & security.
- Select Troubleshoot from the menu on the left.
- Click on Additional troubleshooters from the right pane, and then click on Gaming.
- Now, click on Let Windows detect game controllers or game controllers troubleshooter and click Run the troubleshooter.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the troubleshooting procedure.
Change your display settings
- Open Display Settings > change your screen resolution.
- Use a trial version of Razer Synapse to autoconnect your headset
- Update your Razer Synapse
Open Razer Synapse > click Update Razer Synapse
Clear the Razer Synapse cache
- Go to “Start”, type ” Razer Synapse”, and open the program.
- From the left menu, navigate to “Settings”.
- Scroll down and click on “Advanced”.
- Click on “Clear Cache”.
- Restart your Razer laptop.
Perform an SFC scan
- Go to the search bar and type Command prompt, then right-click on the search result and select Run as administrator.
- Type sfc /scannow and press the Enter key.
- Wait for the process to complete.
